Normaly atleast one of these things are messed up.. Normally the ati card. Well so far I'm a happy camper.. Weee! Or not ??

glad to hear all is working, now all you need to do is try tweaking settings for graphics, speed, or try rolling your own kernell
or try installing Mythtv ( a project i'm considering )

Yeah, what you need now is a project: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Coffee.html
Seriously though, maybe you could do some coding? Learning to code is quite satisfying ... I'm kind of heading in that direction myself, but it's time consuming.I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it. - Pablo Picasso

Yeah, it's always exciting for sure to have everything working but I tend to get bored rather quickly and have to either break something, or try another distro.
Just habit, I suppose...

Nothing like successfully compiling your own kernel...

Some thoughts!
well, my tv card isn't working, it is really old so i think it's busted... maybe a project to start with. I don't think it even works in windows..
I have tryied almost every distro there is.. I rather liked debian because of all the apps just waiting to be installed with a click.. offcourse i got everything working there to untill I lost sound... so I tryed out SuSE it was a great experience, but I didn't get 3D support and when my wireless connection went i changed to Mandriva which has only one problem... They want me to pay 80 bucks a year to let me download and update and I think that is to much...
I haven't tried out slackware yet... hmm...
