He he! I get those spam messages at work all the time. Yep - very annoying. My own particular favourite is the one which says:
INCREASE YOUR SPERM PRODUCTION BY 500%!!!!
In a very shouty uppercase kind of way. I feel like replying: 'If you know how to build the boat, I know how to take the pills.' But, I don't think they would understand ...I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it. - Pablo Picasso

I used to have several email addresses that were posted on the web and was getting 400 to 500 spam messages per day but have recently cut that back to about 30 to 40 per day. That's still too many, so I'm still working on it.

the spam i get the most are;
i am a lawyer in the republic of nigeria and a james vanderbuilt has passed on. He was worth 4.6 million dollars and the only way we can clear the money is with your help. contact me and let me know if you are willing to help me launder money through US banks. (which what i am really going to do is clear your bank account or send you a bogus money order in which you will return me money for the favor of doing so.)
i have on several occasion threatened to send to the FBI, local authorities and even flat out told them F*@& you i dont want to so dont send me anymore emails. i still get them and sometimes they even plead with me to do it because its easy money for me. i have on several occasion sent them the link to 419 eaters dot com. i get them on my yahoo account all the time and the slip through the spam filters because its an individual in nigeria sending people with the same last name as somebody they made up in hopes that all americans are stupid morons that have more money than brains and are willing to let it go to some con man in a foreign country. and apparently i have read that these guys also assume that if we lose money that our government reimburses us.

I was idiot enough to secure a web page name through yahoo. I do not have any idea how to run a website but my ego wanted to protect the name. The daily flood of spam for pills and potions of all kinds to my Email address has been going on ever since. Advertisers are human replicas of the Devil preying on us every which way they can.

Yea I'm beyond sick of this spam crap.
Do you like Gmail? I thought about getting an account - but I heard they filter your incoming messages to place ads etc.
