I've always thought that things which are educational and of benefit to people should be accessible, but the prevailing attitude seems to be 'If it doesn't make a profit it's worthless'. So goodbye rain forests, leisure time, the air we breathe and the rest of it ...

Not that I reckon making a profit is always bad. I just think that anything taken to an extreme is evil.
