    i agree, i'd think "hooked up" means anything accessing the internet. computer or not, anything that is should be counted (imo)

    pc's/servers/super computers....
    pda and mobiles exempt from this at this stage...

    and i do run 4 pc's at the moment, all 24/7...
    3 are mine and one is my sons...
    i use both mandriva and ubuntu....
    now what the original question was about ....
    how many pc's are connected to the internet at any one time(average of course)...
    and how many are connected all up...as in connects weekly or monthly...who cares just how many are there....
    percentages meen nil at the end of the day...
    not a big ask...but it would be nice to get close...lol...
