It might, it is supposed to be more powerful than the XBOX, which has 3 cores, ppc, running at 3.2ghz each, so, if Sony keep the linux pack, then we could buy >10ghz PC's for around £250-300

not only cool but amazingly fast too, I think these consoles are really pushing what can be done with cells/processors now, the only problem I can see is the fact that these consoles have 512mb RAM, and 512mb RAM hold back an x2, think about a 10ghz monster.

EDIT: Ah, nevermind..didn't see that you were talking in pounds. Oh well.
- 02-18-2006 #9i've been a sony hater since the rootkit scandal personally. since then i've refused to fund them. i wouldn't be surprised if they did something similar with PS3 tbh.
