He he ... well, if you find yourself living in a small house with two other similar beings, and you return home one day to find a little blonde girly (with ringlets of course) asleep in your bed ... you will know.

PS: She likes porridge - handle with care.

A koala bear. I saw a national geographic show on these little furry animals.

Funny fact. They are not even bears. They aren't even related to bears. The koala is related to the kangaroo and the wombat. The koala is a mammal. The reason the koala is called a koala bear is because the koala looks like a teddy bear. The koala's scientific name is Phasclarctos cinereus.

Nice one! I like koalas because my mum's uncle was an artist, and many years ago he went to live in Australia (not the only family member to do that). When he returned he brought a couple of paintings with him. One a group of koalas, and the other is of kookaburras.

Here in the UK, as far as I know the only surviving member of the bear family to be found in the wild is the badger. A rather grim fact is that historically, bear baiting used to take place in town centres. The bear was tied to a post and dogs were set on it. The crowd would enjoy this terrible sight. I've seen such a post outside the Queen's Head in Newark Nottinghamshire. This was shortly before getting drunk(ish) in there.

Shakespeare knew about this, and used imagery from it in his plays. Macbeth I think?

Hmm, I'm not quite sure, but an owl or cat seems cool - silent and flexible bodies yet pretty high speeds, I like staying up at night... drool...
