actually, thats not a bad idea. maybe you could do a sticky thread whereby people could predict how you are going to rate(ie good/indifferent/bad. or perhaps marks out of 10) the next release of any particular distro.
all for a bit of fun . perhaps there could be a poll, but rather than creating a new thread for each distro, just use the same poll because supermods can change polls.

Well I just finished installing FC5. Towards its cause, it is the first and only distro, including: Mandriva 2006, Ubuntu 5.10, Suse10.0 and Vector Linux to detect my Monitor without me doing ANY work. I have a Dell flatscreen that usually requires me to do some tweaking with drivers to get it to work. Also, it picked up my soundcard, something that Suse 10.0 did not do. GO FC5.

Same bloated piece of crap that RedHat has been producing for years. Of course, I have a really love/hate relationship with Fedora. Hated 1,3, loved 2.4. Maybe, I'll love 6. Only 2 and 4 detected my soundcard on install, not so for 1,3 and 5. C'mon RedHat its a creative! If OpenBSD can do it, so can you!
