    Oblivion...

Im sad to say that this weekend i will be poping out my linux harddrive and popping in a spare drive (ill use my old windows 2000 pro cd). The reason for this is oblivion. This game looks really cool and people have been ranting about it, atm i dont want to deal with emulation although i dought it works. The graphics are buetiful and the gameplay seems awsome... Is this game tempting you guys too?

Yes, it's tempting. I still play Morrowind from time to time and it's several years old now. Just a great game. I'm probably going to wait until the Game of the Year edition of Oblivion though (I'm sure there will be one), like I did with Morrowind.

Want to try a really addictive game? Even more addictive than Frozen Bubble? Try this: http://www.ucw.cz/~hubicka/koules/English/koules.html

Don't be put off by the dodgy English on the website btw. This is one of those simple but, 'Oh my God what happened to the last 4 hours' things.

I have it on the 360 and it is very good. It is very different from morrowind though. Less go here do that kind of quests and less monsters just sort of out in the middle of nowhere.

graphics are great and of course the story is really cool. But I love the whole elder scrolls series. I kind of want it for my computer but I don't have windows and only have an old radeon 9200. But eventually I'll update so I can take advantage of the construction set.

oh yeah the worries about it being too linear are unfounded you still can do what you want when you want and there is plenty of stuff to waste hourse on trying to figure out.
All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer. All New Users Read This!!! If you have a grub problem please look at GRUB MANUAL

Yah, it's basically Morrowind x2. Pretty impressive, if you like that sort of "wander around, participate in the main quests if you want to or not" game. Huge. I'm liking it.

As far as something addictive you can play on Linux, you will want to kill me for pointing you to this game. Add some pets! Slugs are fun...

Note, depending on versions and installs of Java, you might have trouble getting this to work. For instance, for me it runs fine in Konqueror, gives me grief in FF. Probably related to being on 64 bit, tho'...
