    CentOS Hacked a City Web Page?

    Yes, I read it last night and have to admit is was funny. Any emabarrassment suffered by the City Manager was certainly well deserved.

    Funny... I also live in OK but I don't feel embarrased for it OK, easy now...

    See, this is the type of complacency that grows in you when you take everything for granted while using Winblows... Had the webpage been from Windows instead of Centos, maybe the manager of Tuttle, OK would not have felt threatened and would have handled the situation differently...

    i think it would have been funnier if the guy had noticed a IIS setup page and turned Microsoft into the FBI for hacking.

    It just makes oklahoma look like some backwoods place to live because of one idiot who doesnt know anything about computers. I ended up writing the mayor of tuttle asking him to ask for a public apology from his city manager directed at CentOS.

    Please note that this article comes from the "UK". I don't think that being embarrassed over something that someone over in a different country writes is really necessary. I don't think it's funny just stupid to think that someone could write that much on something so boring.
