Congratulations to you and especially your brother's family. A new life is always something that should be celebrated and embraced. Don't worry about being old, I'm only 26 and mine is almost a year old

No, we don't know yet but some names have been proposed in case the baby is male: Pedro, José Hernando, Carlos and David (my family is hispanic... that's why we are looking for good Spanish names...)

If the baby is a female she will be named Eva...

Thank you all for the congratulatory messages. I shall tell my brother about them because in the end he was the one that made the baby... Speaking of brothers:

There were a couple of brothers. One of them was really good at school, a good athlete, very nice guy, church-going, all in all a great person. His brother was nothing like that and he usually took home low class girls, drank a lot so that the neighbors had to call the police on him, smoke, did drugs... You get the picture. One day the mother of these two boys took aside the black sheep and told him crying... "You should not continue like this... I am tired of bailing you out of jail... You have no respect for this house... Why don't you learn from your brother? He is a good boy and if he keeps it up he will become president of the United States... What will you end up being if you go on like this?" The bad brother started thinking and then said: "Well mom... Almost nothing: Brother of the president of the United States!"

    Sorry about that one

You want to make sure that your folks get into the grandparent thing before they're too old...

Anyway, congrats to your brother and his missus. Dont forget to change your name to "Uncle daacosta"

    Well, Congrats

Funny thing, my wife and I were having a discussion a few days ago about this matter. She wants to have children because she says she is getting old (29).
Also funny, is that neither of us really have any inner desire to have children at least at this time. I don't know if I'm missing something but most of the parents that we know, had some deep need to have children.

Don't feel pressured by society to have kids. Your kids will turn out much better if you actually *want* to have them beforehand, IMO. But then, I was an accident so I guess I can't use me as a good example for that. Haha.
