    What does rc mean?

    I've been wondering...what does rc "like in .pypanelrc" stand for?
    Flies of a particular kind, i.e. time-flies, are fond of an arrow.

    Different people seem to have different meanings for it but I've always considered it to mean "run command(s)".

    I've heard others say it means run control, or resource configuration.
