Built a system today, having power issues?

ok so today i build a new system for my sister

    s754 amd sempron 64 (2800+)
    BIOSTAR TForce6100 (gf 6100/nforce 410)
    1gb crossair value
    40gig hd
    cd burner

i get all the stuff plugged in right from my eye but it doesnt seem to want to power on... The led on the case lights up and 2 leds on the mobo light up (led_prw which means i should be able to start my siystem and led dimm which means that the memory is all ok), but when i try to power my system nothing happens... anyone have an idea whats wrong? the onboard power swich wont work, nor will the one on the case... The cpu is in tight (and in the right position) as is the heatsink...

I just had the same problem, turns out the the plugs from the case to the motherboard needed to be turned around.

You're lucky in a way. When I built my system it just refused to work at all. It turned out the whole PSU was defective ... I hate that sinking feeling.
