    Question X-Box to Media Center

Hey everybody. I havent been here in awhile, due to lack of working on my linux boxes.

Anyway, I need some advice. I realize this is a linux forum, and my question involves Windows but this is the best forum site with the nicest people so I thought I would give you all a try first.

I am going to be transferring schools in August, and will have to live in the dorms for the first semester. I have a Dell Dimension with Windows Media Center XP (not 2005) and want to hook my X-Box to this due to lack of space for a TV. I have an ATI All-in-Wonder 9000 video card. How can I do this without messing up my TV portion?

    Thanks

OK, i can actually help you here, cos i do it too sometimes

There is a box you can get from lik-sang.com that allows you (with some extra cables) to hook up your XBOX to your cmputer monitor, which allolws you to have HDTV resolutions (believe me, it looks awesome with halo 2), it costs around $50-100, so it isnt too pricey

Any other ideas? I wasn't looking to spend $50, but will if I have to.

    Thanks for the help!

Well if it is a TV card as well you could just plug it in and switch it to AV, or whatever plug socket you have put it into.
