I should get some just for the sake of having it. It would be awesome to make a PC case outta one of those boxes. Off to ebay!

Found this: http://www.roesch-swiss.ch/index.php?id=1142&prod_id=69 (I'm starting to think this company is just messing with everybody)

As someone who has applied for and received a trademark, I may be able to shed some light on this.

If you are selling hamburgers and apply for a trademark under the name "Mc Donalds," you will be turned down because of course, there is already a company selling hamburgers under that trade name. If on the other hand, you are selling screwdrivers and no one else is selling screwdrivers under that trade name, you shouldn't have a problem receiving a trademark for "Mc Donalds screwdrivers." If he were so inclined, Linus could sue the Linux detergent company but would likely lose the case since said company is not attempting to sell or market computer operating systems.

Does anyone know of any other products with similar names to familiar brands? This could be a lot of fun. Or maybe products with names which are just funny. I found the following quote from a press release:

Even so, Coca-Cola thrived in China, and the gaffe is now part of company lore. “Every so often they will even put it in their annual reports,” Ricks said.
And I also found this link.

One immediately comes to mind. There is, (at least in the U.S.) Ford Motor Company, Ford chewing gum and the Ford modelling agency. Hmm, the posssibilities are endless...

How about dining out at Toyota's Steakhouse?

Lol ... remembering to do my laundry is bad enough. Mind you, I found a recipe for home made detergent.

This got me thinking so I found a site about making your own stuff. Home made aftershave anyone?
