The site basically says that the trademark is not used in a technological sense, therefore the copyright Linus holds does not apply. Nevermind the fact that Linus probably has more important things to worry about than suing a detergent company. ok, maybe i ought to wise up when it comes to trademarks. i didn't know that.
- 04-25-2006 #6IANATL (I am not a trademark lawyer), but again, since this product has been out a while and no one has heard anything from Linus about it, it's a pretty safe bet that even if he could, he wouldn't pursue anything against the detergent.
