GeeXBoX a lot of media fun without OS

    Hi

I'm getting GeeXBoX from magazine CD I've tryied it from a bootable CD it is

too cool I can't beleive that I can play music or films without Os ,but

GeeXBox do it but the strange thing that you download it without installing

from the bootable CD and eject it ,after that you can play your films or music

without os or (GeeXBox bootable CD),maybe GeeXBoX is running from the

    RAM.

    What do you think ?

probably like alot of bootables it creates a ramdisk which creates physical space on the ram like a hard drive installs itself then runs from there. writing to ram is faster so it probably doesnt take long at all just like a normal boot time.

I agree with you ( all the program just take a 6.2 mb on the bootable Cd)
