    KDE!!

KDE, because it is easier to do things with, such as add items to the start menu,

Gnome because it has it's own verion of network neighbourhood, io personally use both to get the best out of linux, but i prefer KDE as adding things to the start menu means i have little clutter on my KDE desktop and i hate clutter
Very funny scotty - now beam down my clothes

Wow. Talk about resurrecting an old thread. I use KDE most of the time, Blackbox or Fluxbox the rest. Depends on my mood.

Mostly KDE, a bit of Gnome (mostly just to keep myself up to speed on it), a good bit of flux/blackbox, and when I'm in the mood for something a bit different I'll fire up Enlightenment.
There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.

Are you running DR16 or DR17? If DR16, I would higly reccomand you to try DR17, it has a MacOS X-smooth-zooming-bar and cool snow/flame modules, etc.

Myself, I prefer fluxbox. Gnome and KDE is both pretty good I think, and both look eye-candy, the difference is that you'll have to configure gnome before it looks slick
