    E-mail Daily Schedule

I know this may not be the right place, but i've been trying to find somethign with no luck.

here's what i'm looking for. I would like a program (or to know how to configure a program i.e. evolution) that my wife and i can put calendar events into on one computer that's constantly on at home. we both work and are pretty busy and have trouble remembering things.

So what i would like is to be able to put all events into that program and have it look at the calendar and once a day send each of us (my wife and i) an e-mail with a list of the day's events.

so it would be an e-mail like

    Tuesday June 6, 2006
    8:00 Work
12:00 Meet at Wendy's for Lunch
    18:00 Birthday party for Mom

i don't want to have to go in and individually tell it to do this for every event which i know outlook and evolution can do. is there some way or somethign out there that will do this automatically?

    thanks in advance.

Can SuSE OpenExchange do task lists/appointment schedules? I dont know if it can do you an email, but it should integrate with stuff like outlook calendaring and maybe evolution too.

I dont even know if you have to pay for it...

Buy a PDA, Palm devices are supported on most Linux distros and that way you can receive reminders while carrying a PDA. Microsoft Exchange server, to the best of my knowledge, will not send e-mails as reminders and I've been supporting organizations in their PIM applications for years, so I would venture to guess that OpenExchange will not either. I would be curious to learn if any software out there can achieve this functionality, aside from a Web based approach.

thanks for the replys. gives me a few things to try. it'll be fun tinkering anyway. is there something web based that does this? i'm not opposed to that, i just want it to send both me and my wife an e-mail with the day's events.
