    I just can't help but laugh when I see the juxtaposition of "latest advances" and "kernel 2.4"
    yeah, i know it doesn't really fit does it...

    i ordered the cd-set today because all the mirrors are swamped! not all mirrors seem to be up-to date either (at least not the portuguses ones, but i wouldn't expect anything else either ), and it would take forever to download on my 1mbit connection (my average on a belgium 1gbit mirror was 10kb/s ).

    but don't get me wrong, it not a punishment at all to buy from the slackware store

    yeah, i tried bit-torrent. my isp is clamping down on torrent downloads, so after a while i get cut off.

    never mind...next week the cd's will arrive

    Anyone else having trouble booting? I can't get it to do it on my test computer, at all! Haven't tried elsewhere, but this is annoying. I waited all this time, and now I can't boot from CD. To make it even worst, most mirrors still don't have the complete tree.
