Which Next Gen Console-Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 or Xbox 360?

I imagine I'm gonna go for the XBox 360 or the Wii.

I really don't play many PS games, while the XBox 360 is gonna be having some great RPGs out for it (Too Human (Microsoft) and Mass Effect (Bioware) come to mind), as well as Prey, which just looks awesome.

Wii is looking into some pretty nifty technologies, not to mention the new Zelda and SSB games.

PS3, we'll have to see, but since I'll be at college and it's starting at some ridonkulous price, I don't see me getting it.

As I said there, I'm more interested in the Wii than anything else, because I'm tired of games that look pretty but aren't fun to play or have no replay value at all. I still play NES and original Playstation games on a regular basis, so the next gens will need to really blow my kilt up for me to take notice.

Yeah, but that thread is more geared at Sony than at all three Next-Gen consoles. I know what you mean however. I'm tired of Nintendo's same kiddy games, the Xbox's good graphics but bad gameplay and Sony's Playstation marketing strategy.

Nintendo's Wii is the closest it can get I guess. I'd never buy another Xbox after having owned the first and the PS3 supports only blu-ray movies which are expensive and stupid considering that most people now own mainly DVD's. Sure it may be better but so was a Jaz drive and yet you don't see many people using them. Sony also makes the Playstation more like an upgrade rather than a whole new console. I hate how they kill their older products. How many people out there own a Playstation and a Playstation 2? None. Why? Because the PS2 is a PSone. It totally brings down the value of the console.
