    DOS 5 (I think) on an Ambra Sprinta, ex showroom PC. Also DR DOS.

    Old Win 3.11 (or was it 3.1, the old windows anyeay) + DOS (windows was basicaly a GUI shell on top of DOS, now it is a GUI with a DOS fake), ona 33Mhz CPU (memories...)

    Windows 98. I didn't touch a computer till I was 19. My friends all thought that I'd never be able to figure all this out. I laugh at them when they ask me to help them.

    it is kinda the same with me, i never touched a computer until i was 14 really, now i'm 17 and i am better at :

    programming
    gaming
    engineering/'the hardware side' (got one friend who matches me here)
    general computing
    also the only person i know who uses linux and knows what they doing

    i just seemed to learn very quickly with computers

    can't realy remember my first os might have toyed with a win 3.1x before got my win95 machine, which iv'e had for the past 4 or 5 years, couple of months ago i upgraded my win98/redhat 5.1 P120 to a intel celeron 333 which runs win98 and mandranke 9.2.

    basicly, win95>win98>win98/redhat 5.1>win98/mandrake 9.2
