I know there are a lot of "myspace addicts" out there.... as in people who REFRESH their page every 15 minutes to see if someone left them a new comment. And i can't help u with that, i don't understand it.
However i can tell you why MySpace is usefull for me:
1. It helps you stay in touch with friends you see only once in a while
2. Its a great way to organize things... for example when organize a get together I simply send messages to all the ppl i want to see and tell them to msg me back if they are interested.... its much faster than Cell Phones.
3. Posting pictures and looking at people's pictures is fun. See some funny pick of your friend... or stalk that hot chick in school :] whatever you are into.
4. It can be addicting... u post a picture and u want to see what people will say.
With all that said... it gets old as well. I've stopped using it after a year. Now i just use it to organize things once in a while

Same reason we watch dumb TV shows like Family Guy. Mindless entertainment.

Today I regret that I ever signed up for it because I get 2-4 messages per day for "FRIEND REQUEST" in my mailbox...Maybe there's an option to switch this "NOTIFY ON MAIL" thing off...i havent logged into MySpace for more than half a year now though...

Hi - There's already a recent thread on this topic here.
I think this should be locked, and the discussion should continue in the existing thread.

a friend of mine and i made a website that contains anti-myspace propaganda, though i don't think its content would be appropriate. if i get enough requests i'll post it at the risk of getting this topic locked
Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?
- 08-22-2006 #8I vote you post it! This thread is boring anyway
