How I have missed this place!

I am sure not many, if any, people remember me, but I used to frequent the board for a bit about a year ago. Since, I have been wrapped up in a few others things and I am coming back to where my heart belongs, in the world of Linux. Outside of working on my CCNA I enjoy dabling in Linux. An OS that leaves me wanting to learn, unlike the mainstream competitor. Call it just bored if you will. Anyways, I am glad to be back on this wonderful forum! I have been skimming a few things the past couple days and decided I need to make a new peurchase! A laptop that is! So, I will be bugging you all shortly when it arrives and I work on getting all of my partitions set up. I am still torn between Debian (which I ran and loved) or this new craze of Ubuntu (which I got a copy from work). Anyways, look forward to many posts I am sure and I will be helping in as many ways as I can!

i think i remember you. welcome back, have a banana
Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?

Welcome back - I too would give you a banana, but I've been eating them all week, so let's beer instead.
