I've got one of those Casio ones.
But I don't think that Linux will run on that. Would it even have a processor?
If it does, then I won't doubt that it could run Linux.

about all i ever put on my TI-85 was ZShell but i doubt you can because the processor, yes it has one, isnt available in the kernel that i know of. there are projects out there for replacing the operating system on the ti-85. i had mine loaded with tetris which i would play in my classes at college. my professors would always be surprised when i wouldnt do so hot on my math tests

Not sure about the Linux kernel, but if anyone has a port for a calculator it would have to be NetBSD.

well...yes it would be cool to run linux on graphing calcs. I have a ti 83+ and it has a z80 processor. It comes with a built in language called Basic but you cant do much in it...not saying it sucks because ive seen some pretty cool games programed in basic but the main language is asembley. So what if you could write linux in assembley code and then port it to the calculator?
I have doom 83+, mario, wolfenstien, phenoix and zelda on my ti 83+. have to use mirage 0s to archieve the programs seeing the calc only lets you have access to about 24000KM of ram. but hey still fun to play in that boring english class. lol

I would love an affordable and functional device with embedded Linux. I can't really find one though. It would need to be swanky and give me bragging rights as well as being useful.
