Whatever happened to...
...Sam from Quantum Leap? Was the next leap ever the leap home? I worry that he is still out there now, leaping around and doing that reverse kick on all those villains.

Don't you remember the last episode? The last line on screen was something like: "Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home".

OH. You mean the actual character. I was thinking to myself, "Surely they didn't miss the eyesore that was Enterprise..." I seem to remember at least one episode where he "leaped" into his proper time, but he was someone else... like it was out of the life of Al or something like that. Here's some more information on the series overall:

i miss not having a star trek to watch. i liked enterprise in the later seasons. the first seasons with the time travel agents was a bunch of crap. people complain about the technology on the ship but really if you look at it they were behind on technology. they had torpedos but not until later did they have phasers and they were rather inadiquite weapons. they didnt have shields and the transporter was a new unimproved technology. i think just because the ship's panels and such looked futuristic didnt really mean anything because its the difference between a show made in 2000's compared to 1960's. over all what made the show stink was the writing. that didnt improve till later.

I watched "In a Mirror,Darkly" last night. That's a great episode. They did a tasteful job of showing an updated Constellation class bridge in there
. I think it improved a lot towards the end, it was a pity it was already scheduled to be cancelled.
Yeah I think at the end of Quantum Leap he was given the choice to return home or keep on leaping. I think the guy behind the bar (who also appeared in the first episode) was supposed to be God.

I also miss Star Trek hugely. Now I watch loads of Dr Who to make up for it. It's ... fascinating.

I loved that show. I actually saw a really kickass biker movie that stared ziggy, or his actor rather. You guys should check it out, he even firebombs a bridge in it!
