Novell offers some Linux certifications, such as Novell Certified Linux Professional (NCLP), Novell Certified Linux Engineer (NCLE), and Master Certified Novell Engineer (MCNE) just to name a few:

    Here are Redhat's certs:

RHCE and RHCT are two very sought after certifications in the IT industry.

RHCE and RHCT are the most sought after linux certifications to date (because of RedHats dominant position in the Linux server market). Apart from RHCE and RHCT, LPI is very much in demand. http://www.lpi.org/

    Hi.

Following up on Kojak's post, O'Reilly has recently released an update to its thick cert guide, LPI Linux Certification in a Nutshell, Second Edition

I looked at a sample of the earlier edition, and I thought it was good. It would be useful to look at a few reviews, of course... cheers, drl
