Ok. So. I just had to come here to brag about my new used laptop lol. I have been looking for a half-decent used laptop for a reasonable price, in the mid-range specifications area. Well, today I found one in Newfoundland's buy / sell magazine, converiently called.... Newfoundland Buy and Sell. Ha Ha. So, the lady who was selling lived about an hour away, so I decided I might as well go take a look, seeing as I had to pick up both of my sisters from University just a few minutes away. Well, when I got there, it was a little bit like love at first site. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 4100. It has 256 MB ram, 1ghz, 20GB hd, 14.1" screen, CD-R drive, 10/100 Ethernet (I have to buy a wireless pcmcia card) and all the original documentation. The lady who was selling was a complete computer un-user lol. She was nice, and she was helpful, but she knew very little about what she was selling. So my father adn I took a look at it. Was really responsive and quick at opening apps, etc. etc. So i was in love. She wanted $250 CDN for it, and that was a great deal, because my father and I had seen the same PC on E-bay going for $400 USD! So she went down to $200, then I asked about the case. She said with the sweet dell leather laptop case, it would be $250, so I was like, how about $225 and she was like sure, np! I was like holy cow this is amazing. So we seal the deal, and I thanks her many times, adn we get into our car and drive away. I was amazed at the deal I got. The laptop looks nearly brand new. It even comes with an Designed for Windows XP an Windows NT is installed already. I was like GREAT: I LOVE WINDOWS. Anyhow, I just had to tell someone lol. Figure you guys might appreciate the deal. I'm not quite sure what i'll be running on it yet. Right now it's just running Pentoo Live CD. So, when I get the chance, i'll take some pics and upload them for you guys to take a look.
