    Tower is Folding!!

    I shook some hands and bought $50.00 worth of discounted CD's as All Tower record stores are soon to be forever shut down. Sad!!

    I think the ones in Europe weren't affected. I always liked Tower. They usually charged 5 quid more for an album but always had a better selection.

    This must be a northern US chain. We have no Tower stores in Texas that I'm aware of.

    That's kind of sad, I used to buy a lot of stuff there when I lived in the village. They always seemed busy.

    . Indeed, they were expensive, but talk about selection! Of course, they were also the only place that ever wanted an ID from me in order to buy a "Parental Advisory" CD...

    I believe that the Tower HQ is in California. The tower stores in Boston and New York did have a vast selection of titles to choose from along with friendly music knowledgable employees. My world in crumbling!
