I like linux because you don't have to pay for it, unlike m$ windows, i also like it because its much more stable than windows....

    freedom of a different sort

    I like the freedom of linux is a different way. The freedom for it to be whatever I want it to be. I suppose a better word is versatility.

    I started off with a little linux box for fun and oh look now its a router / nat box. oh oh oh look again its a web server. add a bit of dns. maybe some mysql. It just keeps growing.

    its like lego for grown-ups. I'm using enterprise level server apps for fun or just coz I can! That brings a small grin to my face.

    My MS network never really crashed - (it was well administered ). but I like this more.

    Does any of what I've said make sense. Who cares...
