Don't know about the servers, but I'm downloading the DVD through torrents (http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/) and I'm on a 5-6 hours pace (175kb/s).

Hehehehe...I got FC6 yesterday. Downloaded it completely in about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. I've been using it for a day now and I have to say (although I am not a Fedora user) I am quite impressed. I haven't been able to use yum as no servers had the repodata up but it has been running quite smoothly.

Torrents are working well. I've got mine going at a steady ~400 Kb/s. It would be wise to use wget like the website says because of the overhead in your web browser's download manager.

I got it downloaded for about an hour ago, it took 12 hours at a unstable 50kB/s -190kB/s. :P
Does anyone know if FC6 is stable in 64bit version? I know that FC5 isn't, at least if running gnome.

Yup it is. Well at least for me. It was stable, everything worked and I only had a few complaints. I had trouble installing the x86-64 Nvidia drivers, oh and the servers for yum were slow, which was to be expected yesterday. And that's it everything else worked like a charm.

i beleive the work around is to do this. Using a FC5 config.h place it in your modules for the kernel (i'll post the direct link later tonight)

I got the 8776 drivers to install fine. Theres also a new driver available (9226) i believe. My drivers installed fine using the FC5 config.h

I plan to do a write up of all of my intall tonight.
