Is the Final version going to be bug free? Or would it be best to wait a while to dl it once it comes out?

I'm probably going to wait until i've heard it works well. If it isn't i'm going to install fedora core 5.

To upgrade from the test version to the released version, download the fedora-release rpm for the released version and install it. After that make sure that the development repos are disabled in /etc/yum.conf or /etc/yum.repos.d. Once thats done, just do "yum upgrade".

No software or OS is ever bug free. I am sure the main release will have very few show stoppers because they have delayed the release twice so that they could fix bugs.

yes ! 'yum upgrade' will up upgrade packages only. your data in home is safe. i prefer fresh install only, nothing wrong in upgrade though.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
