    That's true - you can't generalize about the whole population based on certain snippets of knowledge you have.

    I always like to think that Canadians are really friendly (I'm very nice and for the most part we all are...trust me!) but there are some rotten eggs. It's like that for every population.

    Hi - Yes I've met some Canadians and got on well with them. My best friend emigrated to BC several years ago, and he's in regular email contact. He always has a realistic view of things, and he says that in general he likes Canadians. He's a social worker though, so tends to see the rough side of things a lot.
