    AMD's in Dells? When did this happen?

    I just saw a commercial advertising a Dell PC with an AMD Athlon 64 X2. I thought Dell was a strictly Intel supporting company. Or am I wrong?

    They have shipped Opterons in servers for a good while - much like them shipping Red Hat and even SUSE I thinkn now on servers. But only servers. The AMDs for desktops announcement was made a few months back but they have just started shipping.
