Hello everybody ok well i havent got a problem yet which is always good now my reason for posting im tried ubuntu seemed a little small (feature wise) although not a bad distro by the way im totally new to linux, im download suse 10.1 with no end of installation problems. A good choice for you is whatever distribution works best for you. From what you're saying so far, it seems Mandriva is a very good choice for you. Congratulations.

There's enough different Linux distributions out there that if you're just having a lot of trouble getting one to work, sometimes it's best to just drop it and try another.

Hi - I've been using Mandriva for several years now. It's got a lot better, and it's great for new users. See you later matey.
