New Forum Section - Wireless Internet

Due to the high volume of wireless internet related threads that have cropped up lately, the Mods and Core Wizard have decided to give those questions their own section, found here:

    http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/wireless-internet/

I will be actively moving any new wireless threads to this section. In my personal opinion, it will be more helpful to everyone involved to have all of these threads in one section. This will allow new users to peruse the section and perhaps cut down on the number of duplicate threads asking the same question.

Just a minor observation here. All the threads there are about wireless networking - internet questions dont seem to get mentioned? Maybe you guys named it wrong?

Is "Wireless Internet" really that confusing? I always considered "Wireless Internet" and "Wireless Networking" synonymous, since 99.9% of people who are trying to set up a wireless network are doing so in order to access the internet. Am I wrong?

You're probably right, but "wireless networking" more accurately reflects the topics being discussed. "Wireless Internet" sounds more like the wireless broadband idea.

I've never known you to be wrong, techieMoe, I think this is a first

For myself, I set up wireless networking on my laptop so I didn't have to have ethernet points all over the house. I had a network, the laptop was gonna be connected to it whether it liked it or not, and so it happened - not really got much to do with the internet, in fact it had more to do with me accessing my files on the other machines.

Also I cant believe I'm debating this; it was only an observation.
