    Smile need help

    This is my first time installing Linux and i can't decide which one of these distros to download, Fedora Core 6 or Ubuntu. I need to know which one is easier to install. Also, for drivers, what things need drivers so i can check if they are supported.

    Hi a123 and welcome!

    FC6 is very cutting edge for a first distro. I would go with Ubuntu. What hardware do you have? How are you connected to the Internet? The more info on your hardware the better.

    Thx for the reply and here is my hardware.

    1.8ghz Intel Celeron processor
    256mb ram
    Integrated graphics (this is what i need help with since i have no video card i don't know if a driver is needed)
    Microsoft wireless IntelliMouse explorer 2.0
    Realtec RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC (network card)
    EPSON Stylus CX4600 (printer)
    COMBI RW16x10/DVD
