Minimalism is good (in some instances, like this one
), I think a clean fresh UI free from 'over-designed-uggly-oversized-user-friendly-buttons' is much nicer, and faster

I think the new look is good ive also noticed they have been playing with the algo alot lately. Also anyone checked out Google personal seems pretty cool you give it areas you are intrested in and it helps with the relevency of your search results. Like if you say your into programming if you search scripts i guess it knows that you more then likely mean programming scripts not movie scripts. Good idea i think.

i think after using it for a day, i overall prefer the adwords ad's on google.com when they were colored boxes as they stand out more.
