the rules of the forum is that we cant help you with your homework. I am sorry that a woman in IT would have to put up with the perv geek thinking he can make moves because you are asking for his help. i would suggest making it known that you don't wish to be treated that way and will resort to getting with your professor if things don't change. I think the rest of us geeks feel like this guy is doing a disservice. if things don't change you might get with your professor on his behavior.

Definitely. People like that should get reported.

carlosponti has the right idea here. although if a prof/teacher was leering at me i'd smash his jaw in but i guess girls don't do things the same way as me

with your programming problem, i don't know if this link is any good or not. i didn't give you that link
Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?

no problem. don't worry about the programming, i used to have trouble when i first started (albeit at 14, i gave up until i was 17 - last year).
about your 'other' problem: if you don't want to report him, you can always tell your friends that he's a pervert. mention it to other people in the classes nearby when he isn't around so they see him being a perv. then if he gets fresh, you have a load of people to back you up. if you end up losing your place at uni then, tbh, it mustn't have been a good enough uni anyway if they don't value their students. Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
