I was sick of windows getting viruses and I had a laptop that would only run suse
Did you use Open Source Software In Windows before trying Linux?
Openoffice, and firefox

I was confused about how to intsall programs I download

more compatablite with graphfics card. I could never get UT 2004 to run without crashing.

Free, and it takes up less resouces

My dad always told me that Windows and Bill Gates sucks, he was always against software patents. He always said I should use Linux since I liked computers a lot.
What made you want to try Linux?
Curiosity, being a challenge

Wireless support
What is the best thing about Linux?
To compile everything from source!
Read source code the whole evening, commands pipes (awk, sed, etc)
