Red face Live distro for iMac

Very well, this is what I have:

    iMac
    Power PC G3 - 350 MHz
    192 MB built in memory
ATA Hard drive - 9 GB

Currently the box has OS 9.2.1 loaded...

I have researched possibilities for using linux on this piece of (might as well censor myself before an administrator does it for me... ) and have looked at Yellow Dog Linux. However, it is my understanding that they do not offer a live CD...

So my question goes: What live distro would be suitable to run the box Iīve described with the option of a hard drive install?

Remark: This is actually my folksī box (ages seventy something and sixty) so I have to be rather sensitive to their needs and provide them with something easy to work with and fun.

Ah! Iīd prefer not to use Ubuntu here...

    Kind regards,

MAC OS 9.2 is quite nice. If you find it runs slow, you can do a clean intall (given you still have the installation disk).

There is also fluxbuntu. It is ubuntu with, you guessed it, fluxbox.

Sorry if you didn't want the *buntu's. They seem to work well (especially for people who don't use computers much).

What about regular Debian? I also seem to get a lot of Gentoo references when I searched for PPC live cds.

Maybe fluxbuntu is the right choice... See, Ubuntu is rather heavy for my humble box and thatīs why I considered it a poor choice but fluxbuntu or xubuntu might be alright. I frankly donīt feel like struggling with Debian or Gentoo because I am pathologically lazy and want something that will work easily... fluxbuntu might do it and I will download it...

OS 9.2 is killing my inner child and I refuse to let that happen... A clean reinstall is possible but I just donīt want to do it [I am too lazy...] I could also revamp the memory of my box and install OS X but I donīt want to spend money on this...

Thanks to Bryan and anti for the time they took to answer my question...
