David Blaine ... cool or insane?
I quite admire him, but every time he does a new stunt (this time he's suspended above Times Square inside a giant gyroscope) the UK public start conversations about him:
'That David Blaine is mad! Who does he think he is ...?'
So what do you think? Is he a genius, a fool, an attention seeker? Or what?I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it. - Pablo Picasso

HIs stunts are stupid - I don't see any merit in standing on a pillar for 2 days (or however long it was). Plus, he's very monotonous. I almost want to fall asleep listening to him.

Wow! I'd always assumed that anti-Blaine feelings were just in this country. Maybe someone should tell him.

David Blaine doing another stunt? I honestly didn't know. I dont even care. I hope people throw things at him as they go by in Times Square, that'd make him feel a lot more wanted, I'm sure.

I love David Blaine. He is so talented and well disciplined. He does outrageous stunts that make people think he's insane - which in itself shows that he's good at what he does. The greatest part is you can watch his acts for free!
I enjoy Blaine on TV more than I did Copperfield live.10" Sony Vaio SRX99P 850MHz P3-M 256MB RAM 20GB HD : ArchLinux

I really loved his work for the first few years. Then there are these stunts that he does nowadays which I think are really boring. It just reminds me of all the attention starved reality TV 'stars' you see. I've kinda gone from thinking of him as my favourite magician to more like Uri Geller. Don't get me started on him.
I think it was the dissapointment of finding out when I was younger how much of a fraud he is.

I find him a little boring and pointless.
A friend of mine was once barred from a Blaine-chatroom after posting "Of all the starving a$$h&les locked in a box over the Thames, Blaine's my favourite!". I laughed for about twenty minutes when I read that!Registered Linux user #388328 || Registered LFS user #15880
