Interesting ... I like the idea of Linux hidden away behind another layer of technology - Google for example - and (off topic) look forward to seeing some Linux based mobile phones later on. Google is indeed trendy, even for non-geeks. It's all about branding and aesthetics. If Linux can hook into that then it's going places.

I wouldn't be suprised if googleOS is forked from a BSD OS. To work around the GPL.
