How to catch a polar bear

Equipment needed
Hand saw
One bag of fresh or frozen peas

Preparation
Find an ice floe that sees some polar bear traffic. With your hand saw, cut a 10-foot (~3 meters) hole in the ice. Line the rim of the hole with peas all the way around.

Execution
Wait nearby. When a polar bear comes up to take a pea, kick him in the ice hole.

This must be an entry into Darwin Award aka Crazy Way to commit suicide.

Another crazy way is charging a group of gorilla in Africa.

A British photo journalist actually try this and he failed.
While taking a picture of a group of gorilla from a hill, suddently he fell ill because of an old sports wound on his leg.
He fell down the hill, screaming loudly and rolling like a stone toward the gorillas. The gorillas were afraid and run away.

I believe that this is too convoluted. It is a well known fact that polar bears love Coca Cola and that they will do anything to drink a bottle. Simply place a couple of bottles of Coca Cola inside the hole and the bear will be trapped.

I go to Jackson Highschool in Jackson Township ,Ohio and my schools maskot is a polar bear. I dont think that I have ever seen our maskot running around with cans of Coca-Cola, but I could be mistaken.

I've heard a similar version where you open a can of peas and place it near the hole...

"When the bear goes to the can to take a pea, you kick him in the ice hole. "

Seeing this joke again reminds me of a very funny video that circulated the web several years ago. It is a canned salmon commercial where a fisherman fights a bear for a fish. I googled it and found it on youtube.
