Great, now we just need to have them throw out the whole case like they should have done years ago! Seriously, though, I can't believe it's dragged on this long with no solid proof or any kind of case for SCO, and it's good to see it's getting closer to the end.

Its interesting to see Novell have now stepped in. If it turns out that they have ownership rights over Unix it really would leave SCO dead in the water (more so than they are now). I can't help but wander what Microsofts current role in this is. After bankrolling SCO and there recent deal with Novell I find it difficult to believe they wouldn't want to manipulate the case further.

Microsoft probably realizes that the case is long over by now, though, and that SCO is finished no matter what happens. Everyone knew they were just faking after they finally showed the code which was, um, "copied", and reports came up proving it wasn't. They're probably busy trying to get the most out of Novell now.
