Any LEXX fans out there?
Don't ask me why this popped into my head; it's been years since I watched an episode of Lexx... but it was a very odd and strangely fascinating series for me. About the only good thing to come out of Canada in recent years. (I kid! I kid!)

Here's a Wikipedia article on it for those of you unfamiliar:

I was particularly bored a few years ago, and over the course of a couple of months I acquired the entire first season DVDs from my local Half Price Books, watched them, and then subsequently returned them to said Half Price Books. It's a neat series, but it kind of lacks replay value for me.
The episode I remember most vividly was one where the crew ran into a floating opera house...sort of. Most of the episode was this strange musical theatre production of the last days of Kai's culture, the Brunnen-G. It was bizarre and interesting at the same time.Registered Linux user #270181

i remember firefly, came on fox right before fastlane, another good show. soo bad that the retarded reality show era kiled them off in there infancy.

While we're on the topic of obscure but interesting shows that were killed off before their time, I recently rented a DVD of Wonderfalls. It was a pretty off-beat sitcom that came on Fox for a while, but was killed after one season because it came on the same time as something more popular... I think it was CSI, but I don't remember exactly.
If any of you have a Netflix subscription (or something similar) I recommend throwing on a few episodes to your list. It certainly takes a particular sense of humor... but it just happens to be my kind of humor.
