Hello, i'm new!
but somewhat familiar with linux. I played with redhat 6 a few years back, installed ubuntu as a dual boot with my laptop (but then never ended up booting into linux...) last april and i installed ubuntu on my old desktop in september but ran into some hardware issues and it's gone dormant while xp is the sole OS on my laptop.
I really want to get into the linux ways of things my biggest problem is to actually finish what i've started and force myself to close the laptop and live with linux.
I'm 22, a student at the University of Pittsburgh...
just figured i'd introduce myself, i'm not sure if that's how people do it over in this part of the internet.

Howdy and welcome to the forums!
Linux can be a pain initially (and some laptops, well, there can be some problems), but as you get used to its way of doing things, hopefully you'll find yourself enjoying it as much as we do!DISTRO=Arch
