    Things I got:

From my girlfriend I got Excite Truck for my Wii, some batteries for the Wii controller, and a nice Norelco electric shaver. She also cooked much sinful dessert goodness at Christmas dinner.

From my parents I got an iPod nano, two Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail shirts ("I fart in your general direction" and "It's just a flesh wound"), a wind-up penguin that poops fruit candy, and fifty dollars.

From my little brother I got Baiten Kaitos for the Gamecube (which plays on my Wii).

From myself I bought Super Castlevania IV and the original Super Mario Brothers on my Wii Virtual Console.

    Things I gave:

To my girlfriend I gave a $12 bottle of her favorite Bath and Body Works hand soap, a talking Family Guy fridge magnet (she likes Stewie), and a bread maker. Before you say anything, she asked for the bread machine. It's not like I bought her a vacuum or something.

To my little brothers I gave the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Gamecube, and provided up front capital to help purchase one of them a new Macbook laptop.

My mother got her customary box of Whitman's chocolates. Dad got a copy of his favorite Mario game, Super Mario World, to play on his Nintendo DS.

To my best friend I gave a DVD player, since I was tired of having to drag her computer tower into the living room any time we wanted to watch a movie.

Mmmm.. I love those sausage and cheese kits. You can keep the wine, though.

I think some punctuation would make this post a little clearer. I did get some interesting mental pictures from these, though:
