Well, I may be jinxing it by saying this, but so far my best relationship has ended up being with a musician. She knows very little about computers in general and video games even less so. It doesn't seem to matter much, really. We have fun.

I've felt for a long time that 'having stuff in common' is less important than personal 'chemistry'. In other words, you don't really know what makes it work ... it just does.

In fact, two people might be a perfect match in terms of their hobbies, and loathe each other. I don't think you can help liking who you like. To quote a song lyric, 'I choose to let the mystery be.'

Girl here.. and I'm agreeing with fingal. An example of why: while my fiance is a psychology student, I'm a computer engineering student. He is *so* much easier to get along with than any of my more geeky friends... even though we have less in common.

It's nice to see at least a few other chix0rs representing.

I'm not saying what I am.

So... they have gender on Saturn? You're not all androgynous purple cepholopods? I owe someone 20 bucks.

Just a guess, but some probably are and won't admit it. Girls sometimes get hassled online by chaps with no social skills and raging hormones.

heh, yea that is really true..
But the people who do so online will never get a Girlfriend..

I dont even understand why they do like that? :S

Anywho, for some reason I always like to talk with a Girl about linux... Dunno why. I guess that you wont expect that they run Linux for some reason. (My GF had one bad exp with Linux and keeps blaming everything on linux now.. I kinda like to talk with her about GeekyStuff )
