    KDE. sometimes Xfce.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

i was previously a KDE junkie, but then started to get annoyed with its slow performance on my old pc, so started jumping around different ones, tried gnome, xfce and icewm, but really clicked with fluxbox after trying DSL and now i've come back to it on Ubuntu. even tho its light, you can still make it look pretty! though it requires a bit more work than KDE/gnome/xfce.

I use a bunch of stuff. Usually it depends on my mood, pretty much a little of all of them!

Most recently I've gotten very serious with GNUstep, and unfortunately WindowMaker is the only window manager that blends well with it, but I personally hate it.

On my desktop/laptop I use GNOME just for convinience sake, and the fact that I don't like KDE.

Mostly I use KDE, although I had KDE on Xgl for a while, which was pretty good for eye candy value. Fluxbox on one laptop, the other is CLI only. And AROS GUI when I get in the mood for playing with that.

Gnome for everyday use, but Fluxbox has been a great secondary WM because it has forced me to familiarize myself with command line, etc.
