    From my limited understanding, this is different. With decss the code to decrypt was from a legal player. With AACS, the code is stored on the disc. The player (Power DVD in this case) extracts the code. This person was able to find the code in the program's memory on the ram. It appears you still need a legal player to get the code in the first place (since each movie is different).

    Of course, it has been defeated before with the all power print screen button!
